Review Author training
We run workshops designed to help people prepare and update Cochrane Reviews. There are four core workshops to help authors at different stages of review preparation, from beginning a review protocol through to completing the review.
- RA1 Beginning a Systematic Review Protocol
- RA2 The Methods Section of the Protocol
- RA3 Analysis Methods for Systematic Reviews
- RA4 Advanced Topics in the Analysis and Reporting of Systematic Reviews
Eligibility
If you are based in the UK or Ireland and have had a review title accepted by a Cochrane Review Group, then you may attend the workshops. If you have not reached this stage and wish to find out more about registering a title with a Cochrane Review Group, see the 'get involved' page at cochrane.org, here.
Training courses should be taken in order. If you are unsure as to which course you need to attend, please speak to your group's Managing Editor.

2020/2021 dates
Please note, as of Tuesday 17th March 2020, the Cochrane UK office is closed following advice from the UK government to work from home where possible. For the foreseeable future, all staff are working remotely. Until we are able to re-open the office, we will be reviewing the format of the Review Author training workshops, including the possibility of offering the training virtually.
